Our Design
Vow Studio only produces 30 to 50 pieces of each design from each season. Making small quantities per design not only gives the Vow Studio customer a sense of exclusivity, but also minimizes overproduced merchandise ending up in the landfill.
Launching only two seasons per year, Vow Studio garments are driven by art and creativity instead of trend, meaning they won't date. This approach extends the product life cycle and decreases the pressure our environment is currently bearing due to the fast-fashion industry. Vow Studio’s creativity allows all pieces to be confidently worn time and time again whilst still being satisfying and unique.
Our Production
Vow Studio’s factories are located in key cities across China, including Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Each factory specializes in specific product categories, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.
Both co-founders are deeply involved with the production process, maintaining daily communication with the teams and conducting regular visits. This hands-on approach ensures that all manufacturers meet Vow Studio’s strict standards, adhering to safe, fair, and humane working conditions.
Since forming our partnership in 2021, Hangzhou Daily Trading has been our key supplier, producing 90% of our designs. Located in Hangzhou city, the factory is equipped with cutting-edge German-imported digital printing machines, ensuring precision and quality in every piece. The factory operates as a small enterprise with a team of 46 skilled artisans, 80% of whom are women, and specializes in small production runs of 30-50 pieces per style.
Their workforce enjoys a safe and clean working environment, with fair wages ranging between 4.3 to 5 times the minimum wage in China. Employees also have access to paid holidays and the flexibility of optional overtime. This thoughtful approach creates a positive environment and encourages long-term employee satisfaction.
To guarantee adherence to our ethical production values, we maintain a close relationship with the factory through regular visits. Their most recent AMFORI monitoring report (Monitoring ID: 24-0283517) was conducted in October 2024, reaffirming their commitment to ethical and fair practices.
