Our Story | Vow Studio

About Vow Studio

With a love for all things fashion and a desire to share it with the world, Morgan Jia and Hailey Pei established their very own brand, Vow Studio, in 2017. Their creativity has been featured in Melbourne Fashion Week every year for the past eight years. Vow Studio has also expanded from an online-only brand in its early days to now showcasing designs in pop-up stores across Chadstone, Eastland, and Emporium shopping centres. These expanded locations, from the online store to in-person experiences, have allowed the Vow Studio design philosophy to reach a wider Australian audience, sharing their playful and fun designs with more admirers both locally and internationally. A community has been built around the brand identities.

Morgan and Hailey decided to pursue their fashion dreams in Australia at a young age as international students. Their multicultural backgrounds have given them a unique understanding and outlook on art and design. They enjoy adding a touch of humour and playfulness to their designs, expressing their world of youthfulness, fun, and joy. They believe that fashion is a way to help anyone make a playful statement to the world. By incorporating striking colours, patterns, and concepts, Morgan and Hailey transform their experiences into exciting and unique patterns and prints.

With a strong commitment to manufacturing consciously and ethically, Vow Studio only produces 40 to 60 pieces of each design per season. Making small quantities per design not only gives Vow Studio customers a sense of exclusivity but also minimizes overproduced merchandise ending up in landfills. Launching only two seasons per year, Vow Studio garments are driven by art and creativity instead of trends, meaning they won’t date. This approach extends the product life cycle and decreases the pressure on our environment currently caused by the fast-fashion industry. Vow Studio’s creativity allows all pieces to be confidently worn time and time again while still being satisfying and unique on the street.
